New Work by Gallery Artists
This exhibit of new work by gallery artists examines the format and language of story telling. The narratives present in this work range from the allegorical to the non-linear, drawing from such diverse sources as genre painting and media culture. The form the story takes not only defines the physical qualities of the work, but can reveal intent as well as the target audience. Our visual world may have changed, yet the desire to read an image remains an important element in cultural consumption.

WD01: an installation by Curtis Whaley
In this site specific work, Madison based artist Curtis Whaley will construct a three dimensional wall drawing. Whaley's work slips out of neatly defined categories, -- his drawings look like paintings. The images hover in space like a succession of small instances. They are organic and mechanical, micro and macro visions.
