Heterology

This new body of work, inspired by Goya's darkest paintings, shows Hudson's facility for depicting the human form in all its messy magnificence. His figures carry deformities suggestive of both the multiple roles we all assume and the emotional burdens we carry. There is no deductive logic in this work, but instead a process of organic divergence leading the viewer on an unsettling and disturbing path.
