This exhibit brings together 5 artists whose photographs share a subject: personal identity. The individuals shown in these images range from strangers to friends to self-portraits, and the methods vary from traditional street photography to staged fictional portraits to digitally averaged composites. The human visage can take on an infinite number of guises; these artists present the viewer with a selection of personas that are both familiar and revelatory.
