LAURA RICCI: New Work

Laura Ricci's whimsical, post-apocalyptic landscapes delight in imagining a new ecological state where mankind's rules are superseded and Nature reclaims the environment. Ricci received her MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2002 and her BA in Studio Art from Kalamazoo College in 1995. She currently lives and works in Los Angeles.

RON LABORAY: Syndication

Ron Laboray's works on paper attempt to archive cultural effect. Popular culture disseminates information that leads us to see any town bearing the name of Springfield as a potential residence of The Simpsons. Beliefs generated by invented identities influence our perception of "the real" and, though short lived and migrant, create an atmosphere of close connection. Ron lives and works just outside St Louis.
