The history of art production parallels the evolution of industry and its technological progress. The illusion of perspective in a two-dimensional plane, the development of printing multiples, the invention of photography and lastly, the many forms of digital imaging, have all become tools in an ever-expanding kit wielded by artists today. This exhibit assembles work by gallery artists who have adopted the tools of industries once foreign, but now commonly used in contemporary art production.
